These are my predictions for the Oscars. Not necessarily the ones I want to win, but my predictions based on either what I've heard about or actually seen.

ORIGINAL SCORE: Slumdog Millionaire
ANIMATED SHORT FILM: Presto
VISUAL EFFECTS: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Good job on picking the best picture winner! As usual, I haven't seen any of the nominees, and best picture was the one movie I hadn't even heard of before. I am glad that Wall-E won best animated, though. I thought this year's Oscars were rather halfhearted, although better than last year's.

Not bad Breticus! Looks like we need to talk Whitney into seeing Slumdog. I enjoyed Hugh Jackman's opening number and the former actors giving out this year's awards. Nice change. The middle drug (is that the past tense of to drag?) like always, but on the whole it was fun to watch.
