WRITING: Long Live Tendonitis

Dad and I have completed our twelfth play for Hyland. It is called LONG LIVE TENDONITIS and deals with an emperor in a Roman empire-type of setting. Tendonitis has been away from his throne fighting many battles. He has returned a different man, suffering from complications that will make his position as emperor even more challenging than it has been in the past. To make things worse, someone is trying to kill him.

The sets will be a little different than we’ve had in the past as well as the costumes. The most challenging aspect of the whole production is one scene in particular which will involve the whole cast interacting in complex ways to create something that should be a lot of fun if it goes as planned.

The first read-through was at the beginning of January and the students have been working hard for several weeks now. The performances are March 6th and 7th.
