Sarah
Trujillo works on staff at Kamp Koinonia which I have been directing for
several years. It was only relatively recently she caught my eye. My interest
grew even more when I saw how much spiritual depth she had and how much fun she
had living life. But because of the age difference, I did not make any plans.
But
my sister Julie saw the possibilities. In the Summer of 2012, Julie dropped
hints about me to Sarah and also chatted with me about Sarah. By the time camp
was over, I was driving Sarah home, talking about whether or not pursuing more
than a friendship would be a good idea.
The
following Monday I met with Sarah’s family. On that same day we went out on our
first date. It took me 18 months to propose.
The
proposal needs some explanation. The first New Year’s after we started dating,
we were unable to be together. So as kind of a joke, we celebrated Chinese New
Year a month later.
On
January 31, 2014, we made plans to spend Chinese New Year together again to
keep the tradition going. I took Sarah to several places that day where we had
been before—as kind of a
“greatest hits” kind of thing. When we got back to the apartment, I ordered Chinese food. When it arrived, I traded out a fortune cookie that I had ready. After dinner, Sarah opened her fortune cookie and inside was the ring.

We
were married April 11, 2014 (41114) in the very small church building next door
to where Sarah grew up.

You might also consider other means of analysis or production that are available, even if it changes some aspects of the final product, or identify related tasks and deliverables that a group can a complete and that satisfy Yoob 100 the same learning objectives
